 I have never tutored in ESL before but I love education and thought this would be a wonderful opportunity. So, I started tutoring my first student in March, 2018 and I became hooked! It has been a wonderful experience for me and I feel like both my students and I are learning something new every day.

导师资格要求

  • 年满18周岁
  • 伊利诺伊州居民
  • 英语流利度为母语或接近母语水平
  • 高中文凭或具备同等学历
  • 每周必须在同一时间提供90分钟辅导，辅导时间需在周一至周四，上午9点至晚上8点间
  • 备课并完成相关文书工作（每周约30分钟）
  • 基本计算机技能
  • 准时可靠
  • 与他人相处融洽
  • 愿意为学习者保密

即将成为ESL志愿者导师的任何人都必须参加为期13 小时的岗前培训。 我们鼓励志愿者导师参加全年提供的其他发展机会。
